The British
Community Council
The Council was
formed in 1942 and represents all sections of the British Community in
Istanbul. Its role is to coordinate the various activities and
interests within the community. The purpose of the Council is, amongst
other matters, to foster British – Turkish relations, including
cultural, educational and supporting good
causes.
BCC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2010
The BCC AGM will be held at the British Consulate General on THURSDAY 25th MARCH 2010 at 6.30 p.m., by kind permission of and co-hosted by HBM Consul General.
Further details to follow. Please note that for security reasons the names of all those attending will have to be known 36 hours prior to the event. We are also actively
seeking new recruits to the Council. It involves attending, when possible, one two hour evenining meeting a month, and then helping with the organization and administration
of the fund raising events we organize, and distribution of the charity we raise.
